Tom's Story
Life
one website is: elcapreport.com the other is elcap-pics.com I retired from almost of 30 years of teaching in 2003 and have been having a great time since. I have a 1966 Pontiac GTO that I have restored and show at car shows and just drive around for fun. I spend most of spring and fall doing photography in Yosemite Nat. Park and maybe getting in some rock climbing too. I enjoy hearing from former students and keeping track of friends too. I am still teaching but not academic stuff.. I teach racquetball at our local health club from time to time. For the past 20 years I have been living in a cool house up in the San Bernardino Mountains here in SoCal in the little town of Crestline. Life is good here and I have a good time just hanging out. Have gotten into photography and my images have been in magazines and catalogs.

We had a grandson added to the family almost 4 years ago and he is the third Thomas. My son is in Phoenix Az and I get to see him, his wife Andrea, and the grandson from time to time.
I have had an interesting and varied life. I have been 1) An officer in the Army 67-69 getting out as a captain 2) A civil engineer (degree from VMI in 66) 3) A tour guide for European trips 4) the owner and operator of a purebred Charolais cattle ranch for 10 years 5) and of course a teacher of math and science for almost 30 years. It has been a lot of fun and retirement is proving to be more fun too... loving life!!
