Tom's Story
Life
Hello from Omaha!
My wife, Wendy, and I, along with our four kids have lived here since 1991. At that time I took a job as the Director of Religious Education at Fr. Flanagan's Boys Town.
In 1998 I left Boys Town and began a non-profit traffic safety education organization called Keep Kids Alive Drive 25. Our primary target is observance of the speed limit in residential zones. We also are concerned with other traffic safety issues. The Keep Kids Alive Drive 25 campaign has taken root in over 1,100 communities representing 48 states. Perhaps you'...Expand for more
ve heard about the campaign in your own community. You can find us on the web.
In addition to my work with Keep Kids Alive, I do training and consultation on youth, family, and risk issues.
When not working, my hobbies include spending time with family, running, reading, coaching, and travelling. One of my goals is to run in all 50 states - I'm up to 41 states so far.
Please feel free to be in touch if you'd like to find out more about the adventures that have shaped my life since graduating from Palmer in 1975.
All the best!
In safety,
Tom Everson
