Tom's Story
I started high school at Fitzgerald High School in Warren, Michigan. The prospect of another Michigan winter did not appeal to me so I convinced my parents to move to Southern California early in my Freshman year. I finished the year at Williard Middle School in Santa Ana, and then moved to nearby Tustin High School for my last three years.
Next, I went to the University of California at Irvine. While there, I spent four years on-the-air at the campus radio station, mainly to get free records. Anyway, they threw me out after four years of partying claiming that I had a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. I decided to party some more, so I went to UC Santa Barbara for surfing and other academic chores. Again, I was thrown out after two years; this time I had an M.S. in Electrical Engineering. After that I had to get a real job.

hern California. Most of my work has been in hardware design, but I have written some software when I could not avoid it or felt the need to create bugs.
My wife and I have spent the last few years raising our pet children. This project seems to have been a success because, at last check, none were in jail. Along the way we have managed to visit her family in Europe several times. We have also met several members of my father's family in England and Spain. Again, none were in prison.
It has been more than five years since I wrote the confession, above. Since then I haven't aged, but I have been able to help my bosses and family increase their collection of grey hairs. I have visited a few more countries in Europe but somehow escaped before the local constabulary managed to notify their border authorities.
If you want to see my picture, it is still on display in your local post office...
