Life I graduated from Papillion HS in 1966 after having spent my Sophomore year at Lincoln HS in Lincoln Nebraska during the 1963-1964 school year. I was in PE class when JFK was assassinated. After graduation I moved to Tampa Florida and joined the Navy in October 1966, going to Recruit Training at Naval Training Center Great Lakes, Illinois. My moment of excitement while I was in the Navy was being involved in the major flight deck fire aboard the USS Enterprise in January 1969. Fortunately I came through it with no injuries. I was released from active duty in October 1969. Got married in April 1972 and graduated from college in May 1973. I taught math grades 7-9 for 12 years and grades 9-12 for one year before beginning my career of choice as a professional pilot in 1988. During my teaching career I obtained a Master's Degree.
