Tom's Story
Life
Since graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, I have had engineering jobs in Chicago, Seattle, Egypt, Kuwait, and back in Seattle. Luanne Brown and I married in 1973 and celebrated our 37th anniversary in June 2010 with our daughter Kate (30) and son Ryan (25). The family spent the majority of the 80's and early 90's overseas in the middle-east where I worked on water supply and sewage disposal system planning, design, and construction in Alexandria, Cairo, and Kuwait City....Expand for more
From 1996 to 2006 part owner of a medium size civil engineering firm in Seattle. In January of 2006 I left Civil Engineering and embarked on a second career in Architectural Visualization. I operated a one man office in Edmonds, Wa called Copper Parrot Studios until the end of 2008, when the economy negatively impacted the real estate development business. I am currently working for the King County Wastewater Treatment Division in Seattle as a project manager for a controls replacement program.
