Tom's Story
Life
Still teaching after 10 years, and loving it! Just completed my second MA degree on the road to my PhD, may even get my thesis published as a book.
Just had a new course approved for next year, "U.S. History through Music" where I will cover the 20th century using music as a snapshot of cultural attitudes.
My wife and I love taking our two kids (7 and 3) on trips around the country, mostly to Disneyworl. We still live in Colorado, just don't think of anywhere else as home. Hope to hear from more of you soon!

g room. It provided me the opportunity to get to know so many people and influence my life in positive ways that taught me how to get through some difficult times in my life. I was most inspired by Tod McKercher and Jim Bond, both of whom really influenced my decisions on where I wanted to be as a person and as a teacher. They made me want to be a high school teacher and because I am teaching at a high school, I think of their impact on me and the impact I have on kids. I really enjoyed high school, even with all the extreme highs and lows of being a teenager. I would do it all over again, and probably not change anything.
