Tom's Story
Here's the quick summary: After graduating Crescent in 88, I went to Wofford College in Spartanburg and received my B.A. in Accounting in 92. I worked in Anderson for a year or so before moving to Gastonia, NC, where I worked at a manufacturing plant as assistant controller. I met Connie at work (she sat in the desk in front of me) and we were married in 97. Early in 98 I accepted God's call into the ministry (long, but very cool story). tist Theological Seminary in 01. I graduated the first Sat. of Dec that year, and my first official Sunday as Pastor of Creech Memorial Baptist in Ahoskie, NC, was the very next day.
We are still at Creech and having a ball. We were told while in Raleigh that we were unable to conceive children and that we needed to look into adoption. After being in Ahoskie for 6 years now, we just celebrated the birth of our third child! Isn't God awesome? We have a 5-year-old girl, Sierra, a 2-year-old boy, Micah, and now, Victoria.
