Tom's Story
Life
Retired a colonel out of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the Pentagon where I was responsible for coordinating military activities in the western hemisphere from the National Military Command Center. Spent most of my Army career flying helicopters and commanding the associated units. Commanded an AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopter Battalion during Desert Storm. After over twenty six years of militry service, I decided to downsize, and I now live on a golf course in the mountains of New Mexico (Alto/Ruidoso). Curre...Expand for more
ntly a county executive for an area the size of the State on Connecticut. Manages activities at a court complex, detention center, a county hospital, eight fire departments, five senior citizen centers, and maintains 850 miles of road. Looking forward to further challenges in government and considering a run for state representative. Married my college sweetheart and have two children - a daughter who is has Phd in exercise physiology and is a university professor, and a son who is a computer/network technician.
