Tom's Story
Retired May 2014 from the Horsburgh & Scott Co. (industrial gearing and gearboxes) Cleveland, OH. Entered the industrial power transmission business as a Sales Engineering Co-Op student with The Falk Corporation and as a junior at UWM. Reported to managers who reported to Mary Falk's (DHS67) father. This program would turn out to be one of the luckiest breaks in my career for which I am eternally grateful. ation was much easier compared to today. Married to Debbie Bauer (DHS66) with three adult children ( 2 Falk babies and 1 H&S baby) and six grandchildren (ages 4-14, 4G + 2B including one set of fraternal triplets 2B 1G). Debbie retired as Treasurer of the Bay Board of Education, our local public school district, in 2014. I am one lucky guy. Life is beautiful.
I have two college degrees and can not figure out how the bucket list feature works on this website. I only have one bucket item: I want to attend my youngest granddaughter's wedding with Debbie on or about June 1, 2038.
