Life
My husband, Don, and I build and restore all kinds of horse drawn vehicles, from stagecoaches to buckboards. I love to cook, quilt, can, and garden. My son Rus Weatherby, I was married to Ronnie Weatherby of Tech for 20 years, has a daughter, born on May 20, 00 whose name is Madyson Sydney Weatherby also a daughter born 2002, Kylee. We live 35 miles from them. They live in Springfield Mo. We have lots of animals on our place, which is in the middle of Amish neighbors. We have 4 cats, 4 dogs, 3 goats,nanny,billy, and baby, 22 chickens, 4 Belgian Draft horses. We enjoy going to church, singing gospel songs, and being practicing christians above all....Expand for more
I also make gift baskets with soaps and candles, quilting, gardening, monograming, and walking. My husband, who had retired from Arkansas, teaching math for 30 years, went back to teaching at Mansfield Mo at the Laura Ingalls Middle School. We love our place called FEW ACRES FARM. My husband is building a 1928 Roadster from the ground up and he has his 1940 car from his youth. He restores it when needed. We have a 1949 mercury eight. We also have a 1977 RV,we love traveling. He shops for vintage car parts on ebay and I shop for vintage 1930-1940's clothes on ebay. I love wearing the hats,shoes,clothes and purses from that time. My mom is still alive and 84.
