After spending ten years as a Certified Mortgage Consultant in Charleston, South Carolina, I spent ten years in a position in the Commandant's Office at The Citadel. A retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, I served as a Tactical Officer at the Military College of South Carolina. I retired to Florida in 2017. I was the first South Carolinian to earn the prestigious professional designation “Certified Mortgage Consultant”. A former President of the South Carolina Mortgage Brokers Association, I spent over thirty years in real estate and real estate finance.
