Tommy's Story
Life
I'm originally from Hawaii. After gaduating at Denver East High in '78, I studied Advertizing Design at the Colorado Institute of Art.
Spent the following 20 years of my life in the restaurant business as a host, bartender, and manager (Rick's cafe, Rick's Blue Water Grille, and Chopper's Sports Grill - all in the same location in Cherry Creek).
I've loved and supported local music since 1976 (It started with seeing Manual High's Nelson Rangell at Soren's in Cherry Creek during brunch). Created Local Music Network Of Patrons (LMNOP) Colorado in 1995 to help promote Denver's music scene. Established LMNOPCO.com for the world wide web. Created RockOnColorado.com in the spring of 2003, to continue sharing pictures of Denver's mu...Expand for more

Served on the nominating committee for Westword Music Showcase for several years. Served on the board of directors for the Colorado Music Association for 2 years (President from June 2002-June 2003). Worked closely with many Colorado artists including Shauna Strecker (Western Vogue) of Katoorah Jane, Nina Storey, Liz Clark, Kristina Ingham, and Lauren Michael. Presently managing at Brendan's Pub (my favorite live music club in Denver after Herman's) in Denver, CO.
