Tommy's Story
While I attended SouthSide High for three years, I moved and went to NorthSide my senior year. I really enjoyed my time at NorthSide. After high school I attended Union University for a year and worked for the Jackson Sun newspaper until I got my draft notice. I enlisted in the Air Force and ended up staying 26 years, visiting such wonderful locations as Teheran Iran and Ankara Turkey. I really did enjoyl my military time. After retiring from the air force I worked for an RV dealership for 13 years as operations manager. ehended by the border patrol. I was accepted into the contract in 2006 and am still working today. We work four 10 hour shifts driving 40 foot buses all over southern Arizona, then to the border. I really enjoy the job as it's something new every day. I think often about all the great folks I met at NorthSide and only wish I had spent more than one year there. I have been married for 41 years, have one daughter and three grandchildren ranging from 8-14. Life is good and I feel blessed in so many ways. I only hope my NorthSide friends, and Southside friends have been blessed in their lives and welcome any contact. Take care, Tom.
