Tommy's Story
After graduating High school in Ajax I attended St. Mary's in Halifax. I chose to major in economics.
I stayed on the east coast longer than I should have. Nice place to visit but it wasn't for me.
Still single, I headed west to B.C. In 1979 I ended up on Vancouver Island. I thought
I died and went to heaven.
I settled in Victoria and worked for the provincial government of British Columbia.
I met and fell in love with my future wife in a flower shop on Estevan Ave. We married in 1984 and she gave birth to our beautiful daughter, Barbara in 1987.

oria We do. And did.
I applied for and received a position with KPMG LLP in Vancouver. We didn't move far but now was able to get around easier off the island.
Sadly in 2001 I lost the love of my life' my wife and Barbara's mother to cancer. I'm still in love with her and find it a battle every day to stay focused.
In 2014 I relocated to Calgary to be close to my only child Barbara who is now finishing her Master of Science. And teaches in Calgary.
I'm involved in snowboarding and ice climbing in the winter and road trips throughout North America in the summer. I like to take one overseas trip a year to fulfil my life.
