Toni's Story
Well to all who takes the time to read this I can honestly say that my life has been very interesting to say the least. The curve balls thrown at me taught me great lessons of wisdom. To refresh your memory of "who I am".. my maiden name was Toni Brooks - I married Paul Cameron in 1960. Paul was from Newmarket. I am an only child. Several of my family members went to Aurora High School. My uncle Cos LoPatriello - his wife Barbara Hayes.. my cousins Paul & Stephen Wright (Oak Ridges).. several of my friends in those days were Jeanne Fice (who passed away from diabetes many year ago. Jeanne was a dear friend to me & I still miss her)& there was Janice Hodgson, Jeannie Barnes, Charlie Sheen,Judy Reed, Judy Hines & so many others. I have lost track of every one & fortunately thru this site I have re-connected with my Maid of Honor, & two others. In 1987 my only child, my son Stephen was killed by a careless driver, I raised his two daughters as my own and just this year they both had their 1st children and made me a very proud GREAT Grandmother. e - Feb.28 & Skylar Leigh Aug.5th... I am now looking at leaving Canada to spend what years the Creator has left in store for me. I just can't take too many more winters in Canada. The cost of living here for a Pensioner leaves most living in poverty. Financial relief in a 3rd world adds to ones' life span..
Some of U might remember the day in morning assembly that Police Chief Bill Langdon came in & took about 6 boys out to put back the street signs that had all been moved the night before (it was Halloween).. well I must confess - it was "all" us girls that did that. Oh, we we also the ones that pulled out the Library steps for about 3 years!! but we didn't put the "For Sale" sign up the flag pole on the High School. LOL..no one bought it anyway.. Ha!Ha!
I hope I connect with as many of my school friends as possible.. would love to "chat"... they were good days! life was much easier!! less crime!! WOW, how things have changed in "our" life times... Contact me if U remember me... I would love to hear from all and every one. Thanks a million... Toni
