Life
I have one daughter, she'll be 4yrs old in May. Yes I said 4yrs old. She's beautiful, her name is Marshaya Ziaire. I was married in 1994, but it didn't work so I'm divorced now. I still love to travel, I just have more people with me now {smile}. I'm raising my sister's (Karen) son Marcus (12) I had her other son Michael (15) until last year, but now I have him on the weekends.
I had a child care and a Cruise agency for 15yrs. I'm on a leave now my dad has Alzhiemers and his wife left him so my sister {Mona} and I take care of him now. I worked with LAUSD right out of high school in the Special Ed Dept. until 1993 when I decided it would be good to be self employed and work at home with a new Asthamatic baby.{Michael} So most of my life I've been surrounded by children. that was two years ago. My daughter is now 6, my dad is in a home, Marcus in 14, and Michael will be 18 in a couple of weeks. Mike is now here with us again. We are a family of four again. I still enjoy traveling, and being surrounded by really good friends. I tell everyone I have the best friends in the world. It's so true you can't do anything about your family, but friends are whome you wish your family could be. I'm back to selling cruises again, and some catering part-time. I was going to erase this story, because it was a little sad, no actully pathetic. But then the reality is that was my life, and I couldn't erase it because I worked so hard to make it. I'm not ashamed of it because thing happen. We just have to learn how to survive things when they happen. They say that which does not kill us, makes us stronger. Well I can say life has made me a strong black woman.
