Toni's Story

I've been happily married to Jim Thorpe for nearly 20 years-no biological children, 4 grown stepkids. My "Baby" is my cousin Kelly Fisher. I have lots of surrogate "kids"-young people I work with. I retired from County of Sonoma, Human Services in 2005. I was a Social Worker in Employment & Training, specialized in Mental Health and Substance Abuse services for 27 yrs. I've volunteered at Gold Ridge Fire Dept. since 2007, On the Incident Support Team-we fill air bottles, do Rehab (rehydrate and rest) for supression personnel,light the scene of traffic accidents and fires,& provide security and assist the CHP in traffic control. Music has always been my biggest passion. I love to cook, too. We love Sayulita, Mexico. I love RVing, and watching football and big wave surfing.
