Julia A.'s Story

Life After Marywood. where I was known by the name Toni, I went to Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey) and graduated with a BA in 1968. I married Bob in August 1968 and moved to Westfield, NJ. In 1971 our son Jason was born. I taught music for two years until I had Jason and then stayed at home with him. Bob was an instrumental music teacher in Westfield and we also had a printing business that I worked from home which gave me the best of two worlds. Later we gave up the printing and I first worked in a card/gift shop and then went to work for ...Expand for more
Statistical Research, Inc. which was a market research company in Westfield. We did radio research for the major networks throughout the entire country which gave me an opportunity to talk to people from all over the US. I retired from there in 1999 and Bob retired after teaching 32 1/2 years and we moved to Chase City, VA. Now we live in an old farm house that we have modernized quite a bit and I teach piano to a few students and enjoy reading, sewing, crafts and gardening. I have Multiple Sclerosis which limits my time spent in the sun and heat but life is good.
