Tonia's Story
Life
Well I left the San Joaquin Valley 4yrsago. I had been living in Lemoore and Hanford until then. I moved to the Memphis area and hated it. I was working in a great place so I stayed. Since then I have met the greatest man in the world and we just got married. I moved to Mississippi 5mins from the TN border so it wasn't much of a move. I I live right around the corner from my job, which I am totally dedicated to. In my profile I last wrote that I was getting out of the Veterinary field and going back to human medicine. Well again I decided my heart wasn't there. Besides I started working for the most wonderful place with the greatest doctor so I'm staying. I manage a Vet Hospital, where we primarily see small animal as in dogs, and cat. Though I've thrown a few inte...Expand for more
resting animals on the table for my doctor. I just tell him I know how to work on them and I'll teach you!!! It's a lot of fun. My husband works with me, or for me lol as a tech. We still have a lot of animals, 9 dogs, 3 cats, an Iguana, chinchillas, ferret, snake, and a bird. I do work with the local animal rescue group also.
My kids are now 10 and 14 and for one more month. My son stayed in Visalia with my parents when I moved here and my daughter came with me.
Last summer we came to Visalia, my husband had never been to California. He decided he loved it and wanted to stay and I said no way. I actually considered it at first, but couldn't do it. So I remain in northern Mississippi.
I would still love to hear from anyone out there I might have known back in the day.
