pany "Chevron". I am currently working in Tengiz Kazakhastan where the average daily temperatures are 70 Deg. F. But, winters can get to a chilly minus 40 Deg F - before wind chills. It has been as low as minus 80 Deg F at some times. The oil field is a very deep reservoir which has around 20% H2S in the crude. We have to remove the sulfur from the crude before it can be shipped out to the market. Before going to RoK, I worked on the Island of Sumatra for around 5 years. Our family lived there with many other special families and friends. We will always remember the great times in Indonesia. Our best vacation was when we went to Bali - that is one of the best places in the world. We will remember the Boy Scouts camp outs, Fall Soccer league, Motorcycle rides in the jungle, Duri Softball League, etc... My two youngest loved living there and they still think it is their second home. I am of course a huge OSU "Beaver Believer" and it is about time that we are finally winning (Kicking some - - -)some games in Football and Baseball - it was really great to see OSU win the National Championship in baseball - 2006 and 2007. So many geat teachers in the Coquille school system and I really owe them all for the great education we all received. So many favorites - couldn't even go into the list. But I will update this later to add some special teachers from High School. Hope to keep working overseas - the current 28 / 28 schedule is so great. But, it is tough to change your schedule every 28 days. Kazakhstan is 12 hrs off from Oregon time zone. Really miss some great classmates like Mike Irwin. He was a great guys with some very futuristic visions that will eventually come true. Unfortunately, he will not be able to see some of his visions come true...we all miss you Mike!!
