More about Tony:"In 1959, Reverend Tony Ridell Brooks was born in Longview, Texas. His family were members of Hida Chapel COGIC. The Pastor at that time was Elder Dicky.
In 1968, Reverend Brooks was baptized by Pastor Thomas at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. In 1970, Reverend Brooks and his family moved to Seattle, Wa, That same year he joined Peoples Institutional Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Edgar Bratton. Reverend, Evangelist Dr. Tony R. Brooks, Sr. accepted his calling in the ministry in 1997, at Greater Revival COGIC, under the leadership of Superintendent. L. J. Green. s ministerial education at the United Theological Seminary and was licensed and ordained in 2004, by The President of The United Theological Bible College, Dr. B.F Martin & Dr. Robert Houston, Pastor of The Beacon Hill First Baptist Church. He Furthered his education in Ministerial studies at the A. L. Hardy Academy where he received his Bachelor of Theology and Masters of Theology Degrees. at Peoples Institutional Baptist Church under Reverend Dr. Amos Landry Jr. Reverend Brooks is the proud father of 4 children and 11 grandchildren. He is a member of the Central Area Chamber of Commerce, Phillip Randolph Ministers Alliance and ACORN, as well as a community activist. Reverend Brooks' Passion is the study of " Powernomics For Churches and Biblical Principles." In 2010 Reverend Brooks joined Betheny Church of Holiness USA, under the leadership of Perry J. Fields. In 2013 Reverend Brooks, started Discipleship Church Ministry. The official worship service will take place on June 23, 2013.".
