at Baker where I coach. I also have three grandchildren. My wife Joyce is my proof that God loves me. She is brilliant and beautiful and is a published author of three novels. Sports are my life. I played semi-pro football until I was 34 then played another season 10 years later just so my son could see me play. I also boxed a little while playing football to stay in shape. (You have to be in a lot better shape to box than to play football.) I coached softball during the summer for 15 years and won two National Championships in 1991. I've been coaching softball at Baker High School for 25 years.
