Tony's Story
After graduation (I was supposed to graduate from East Forsyth in '72, but had enough credits to graduate in 1971. I then worked for a year at Food Lion. I joined the US Army in May '72 and became a radar operations crew chief and military intelligence (oxymoron) assistant. About half of my weekends were spent in Juarez, Mexico where I grew very quickly and that's all I'm going to say about that.
I also started playing guitar and writing poetry in 1974 while in the Army.
I left the Army in 1975 and went to college at UNC-G where I graduated in 1980 with a degree in Chemistry.
I was a bench chemist for three years before moving to Burlington Industries as a Technic...Expand for more
al Manager in 1983. I left Burlington Industries for Ciba-Geigy in 1986 to become a Contract MFG Field Supervisor. I moved up the management ladder there but became a 3 million-miler on Delat Airlines and one million on US Air.
I changed careers in 1998 within Ciba-Geigy (then called Novartis) becoming an HR Manager. Over time I was used more and more as a trainer/instructor and have numerous certifications in image and personal development.
I was married from 1977-1986. I was then single until 1993 when I married my present master (wife), Maggie.
We have lived in Switzerland for the past two years but are in the process of moving back to the states as I write this.
