Tona's Story
Life
I had a beautiful baby boy on August 3rd. 2006. It was a hard progress but i did it. The doctor had to enduce my labor since my blood pressure would not come down. I had toxemia & preclampsia, not fun at all. I was on so much medicine I didn't know what I was doing half the time. I had to watch my self push in a mirror since I could not feel anything. I'm thankful to have all my friends and family that were there to support me. My son weighed 5lbs. 11oz, he was 1 month premature. I named him James Micheal Porter. (named him in memory of James Huskey, Joanie Beam is his God mother.)
School
My biggest crush was a football player, but I never said anything because I was with someone else at the time, however, this particular football player found out I had a crush on a football player but didn't know which one until I was forced to say ...Expand for more
it was him when he threatened to tell the whole school that I liked a football player, and was going to choose which one to say who it was!! We hooked up in 2005 and had an amazing week in florida together. If you really want to know who this person was it shouldn't be that hard to figure out!! :)
Workplace
After graduation I worked as a CNA for St.Lukes Hospital in Columbus, then for Kids Zone Daycare. After I moved back to my home town, Caldwell County, NC. I pursued a job in the inventory department at Cross Creek Furniture. I have been here for almost 2 years now and I love it! I'm also getting married soon! I was proposed to 2 days before christmas of '06 by Steven Dula, also from Caldwell County. We had planned to get married in July of this year, but our wedding date will be delayed until Steven can have his hip surgery and be recovered well.
