Tony's Story
80 - 81 -lived in KC mo for 1 year while attending Electronics Institute with my Good friend Steve Smeltser. Was at the Hyatt Regency when the walkway collapsed. A very Bad day.
82-83 - Lived In Houston TX while working for a Stock Brokerage Company servicing all of their Computer systems. Encountered my first Hurricane "Alicia".
84 - 86 - Lived and worked in Kahoka for the City, BALL GMC and for the MO state Highway Dept.
87 - 88 - Worked for a tower company, fell from 500 feet and lived to quit that job on the spot and realize I needed to use my brain instead of muscle to earn a living.
88 - 89 - Attended Southeastern Community College and Earned an Associates in Applied Science, major in Robotics. (Finally Grew up)
90 - 92 - Moved to Cedar Rapids and wor...Expand for more
ked as a controls Engineer for systems integrator. (really grew up, seriously)
92 - 95 - Went to work for a new engineering firm in CR as a controls engineer. (I told you I grew up)
96 - 99 - Co-Founder of Pinnacle Engineering. Eventually sold my shares in the company and changed my career to Electrical Designer. (yep now I finally realized what I wanted to be when I grew up.
2000 - 2010 - Senior Electrical Designer. 50 years old and imagining that I will make it to 75......
2010 - 2013 - Still an Electrical Designer, Celebrated 15 years with the company this year. ( I guess this is what I am going to do when I grow up) :)
2014 to present - I was promoted to Electrical Design Manager at ESCO Automation. Loving the new position and responsibilities it brings.
