Tonya's Story

Life I've been married for 17 years to my husband, Patrick. We have 3 children - Riley (age 7), Peyton (age 5) and Jacob (3). They keep us busy, but are a blast and a blessing. School I don't remember much of high school - I have a TERRIBLE memory. But, I do remember Mr. Storino - an English teacher. Seemed like a crazy guy, but passionate about teaching and invested in his students. I also remember our school NOT having A/C - except the new building which housed all of the business classes. Maybe that's why I took so many of those classes! College Right after high school, I took classes at loca...Expand for more
l community colleges. My thought was that I would do that until I figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up. I never did figure that out, so I eventually went off to Mary Baldwin College, majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing. Workplace I now work at Capital One and have been there for 12 years. My positions at Capital One have varied, but mostly focused on marketing via a variety of channels. My current position is building Capital One's new online servicing site. I am enjoying my time at Capital One - it definitely challenges me and has helped me grow professionally.
