Tonya's Story

I always wanted to be a mom when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a reality. As it turns out, they were right. Well after graduation, I got married to my high school love Raymond Flores and we had our first son: Sebastian. We lived in San Antonio for 2 years then moved to Clovis, New Mexico. We lived there for 4 years and I went back to school at the community college working towards my associates in business while Ray drove a semi over the road. Sebastian was spoiled rotten meantime. At the end of the 4th year my father-in-law became ill and we decided to move back to San Antonio to be closer to him. He passed away a few months after we moved back and I started working at the Sears Center and Ray worked delivering Alcohol to bars in Austin. I got pregnant and had Joey and when he turned 2 months we decided to move back to Clovis. My dad retired from the Air Force after I graduated and being a daddies girl I wanted to be closer to him and my family. I became involved in Sebastian's school as a parent volunteer and I was chosen parent volunteer of the year. I liked my work so I decided to get a job as a teachers assistant working in the special ed department. I went back to school at the same time and decide to change my major and become an elementary teacher. I juggled my job, school and home (with the help of my family) while Ray was still driving over the road. Sebastian meantime got real involved with sports. I eventually realized I couldn't do school, work, home take care of Joey and Sebastian's sports pretty much by myself. I had to let go of my job I was becoming so burned out from it all. Sebastian and his buddies saw a change in me that was mean. I became good friends with Sebastian's friends moms and we all became a little family. Then the unexpected happened really it was a surprise. I found out I was pregnant. I was having another miracle. I had Christian and decided I didn't want anymore. Everyone joked with me to try and have a girl and I figured I would have another boy or twins if we tried again so that was it NO MORE KIDS for us. I quitt school and Raymond started working part-time with my dad as a bail bondsman. He eventually quitt driving a semi and became partner with my dad and is now a bail bondsman full time. I work in the office as the secretary. It is fun and it is also very boring!!!! My boys are all growing up. Sebastian will be graduating this year. He is still playing sports. He is playing on th varsity football team (GO CATS!!!!) and he played on the varsity baseball team last year. We are proud of him he earned his letter in baseball and was voted most defensive player. Now he just needs to work on his grades get into college and live a great fun young life. I am getting nervous about having to let him go. I don't now if I can do that! Joey is in the 4th grade and he is a smart boy he made the honor roll all last year and he is also playing sports. He made the Little League Allstar team this year and we went ...Expand for more
to state in Albuquerque. My baby CJ is going to the 1st gade and he is totaly different from the boys. He is a ladies man. He is outgoing and for sure NOT SHY. He is fun to be around and for his age very smart. They say kids say the darnest things well in his case it really is true. He loves baseball and football and can't wait to play tackle football. Ray has been enjoying time with the boys he has always found time to coach Sebastian's youth football and baseball teams nd now he is doing that with Joey and CJ. It took some time for Ray to grow up like most boys but he has and we have been married for 18 years and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with him. So that is my life since graduation. The best way to blow off steam for me is to start cleaning my house that is the best way to get things off my shoulders. My parents! Why? Well they have always been here for me. Starting with teaching me how hard work and determination pays off. They have taught me good morals and how to love your family. My step mom has been a great mother to me and she loves me just like her own children. My boys are very important to them and they are never afraid to show us all how to love My boys sports football games and baseball keep me very busy. I have 3 dogs that we love Gizmo, Ginger, and their baby Chacho. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my bathrooms and add on a large family game room. My dream home would be 5 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths. I have learned how kids now a days need to be taught good morals and how to respect their elders and that laziness is in their generation. If I won $100 million, I'd give part of it to my church and open a youth sports facility for kids to be part of for free, then spend the rest on me, myself and my family. My current age is 36. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old. I was so completely wrong. My best friend would tell you I'm still the same old Tonya, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as loyal, friendly, loving, caring, and helpful and good friend to have. I share my home with 4 males, which I find can be a pain because the can be messy. Parent Volunteer of the year. I am also involved with the Baseball boosters and was on the little league board. In 10 years, I hope to be still in love with my old man. I'm going to get there by having great sex and enjoying our marriage life now. My oldest friends would have to be my husband Raymond we met in the 9th grade he moved in across the street from me and we connected right away. The other friend is Edna DeLaVega we met in the 9th grade and in a math class. She was fun to hang with and we had some crazy times together. We partied our asses off and we also shared alot of important memories like; our marriages, our pregnancies and of course she was there when I had Sebastian. Thanks for still being here for me ED! My first job was at Ingram Mall, where I got paid crap to sell clothes. What I remember most about it is my own shopping.
