Tonya's Story
I was working as a florist helper while in school and went on to work for the shop for 19 years when I purchased it for myself. I moved the shop to Chamblee, Ga where I lived for a year or two. I closed the shop in December of 2004 due to health reasons.
I had an injury that caused me to have to learn to walk again in 2004 and it took about 2 years for me to get back on my feet and move back to Georgia after living with my mom again in North Carolina. (how many times do we move back to mom's in our life? It seems to be as many as we need!)
In 2006 when I came back I worked by for the previous owner of the flower shop at her wedding chapel in Jonesboro. I know how to make wedding cakes, flowers, and catering to the groups as well as coordinating a wedding. (Wow it gets stressful but it was our job as co...Expand for more
ordinator to make her day a day to relax).
I currently work in the money business by helping people get out of debt sooner, pay less taxes and save more for their dreams in the future. Do you know anyone else who can help you be the "Hero" for your family? Why not You?
I am here in Atlanta and spend a lot of time in Conyers.
I have been married twice and have two children from my second marriage. William is about to turn 17 and Jessica is 14. Raising teenagers who know just about everything. Were we ever this obnoxious? Did we know everything when we were in school? God what happened to us? My children think they have better music, clothes and cars than we did in school. We just had the best time with our things back then. I live in Norcross with my fiance Mike who owns a wholesale floral company.
