Life Sept07--Our daughter, Marli, just turned 22 years old and is moving to Calgary from Edmonton.Sure is hard to believe how fast time flies.Now if she would just start working on grandkids!Work building our little farm continues and we're getting very close to growing/ raising all our own food.We have a new flock of laying hens, 4 pigs, 2 heifers and a steer this year as well as the dogs and cats.It's been a lot of work to get fencing in place, flight pens built and everyone tended to.We raised 78 chickens this year with 58 of them going into the freezer. It certainly isn't anything I imagined I'd be into, but I adore it out here. Garry(Naylor)retired from the military and started his own business in emergency management.He's able to do most of his work from home and it's been awesome having him here full time! We have as much fun together after 26 years as we ever did!Life is very good!! Aug08--have added another puppy to our family. Odyss is 4 months old now...sure makes you realize the years are passing quickly! He's a hoot though and his dad and aunt have more than accepted him.
