Tracey's Story
Right out of school I got married and started a family. 3+ years & 2 kids later I was a single mom. I had my 3rd child in 1982. Started working in May '78 and have been working ever since. From 1978 to 1987 I worked at toy companies ...Wham-o Mfg. Co., Imperial Toys and Spectra Star Kite. I remarried in 1988 to a man with 4 kids and became an instant grandma, and moved to Virginia. In 1999, I found my biological mother and a younger half brother. I knew I had an older half sister but she had been "missing" from the family for over 5 years. I moved to Arkansas in 2001 to get to know my biological family (half sister "found" December 01). What a mistake!!! So glad I was put up for adoption. Moved back to Virginia in 02. ich we intended to move into as soon as we found jobs. Here it is, 2010 and we're still looking. VERY small town. I now work at a therapeutic massage place as the receptionist/ office coordinator. No benefits but free massages! I have 2 dogs, one we know is a pure breed Shih Tzu which my grandsons by my oldest daughter named Cheubakka cuz he looks like the Star Wars Cheubakka. Our female, we aren't absolutely sure if she's a pure breed. She is our rescue dog. Her name is Roxy and when we got her, she had never seen 'outside'. She was raised in a basement with 16 other dogs including her parents, brothers & sisters, children, nieces & nephews. She's been with us for over 3 years now and, thanks to Chewy, has become a real dog...cat chasing and everything.
