Tracey's Story

Life My Spouse: He used to get his hair cut at the shop where I worked. I actually went to RHS with Michael (he's class of '78) but didn't know him. And then I met him 15 years later. Michael and I have been married for 14 years, and then three years ago, he had a stroke. But that's a whole different story. My Pets: I love all kinds of animals, we've always had a good understanding of each other. My cats are Stripe, Blinkin,Johnny and Little Bitty Guy. My Kids: Stephanie is my daughter, Clayton is my son and Michael has Loren, Jessie and Nikki. Stephanie is married to Brad, has a Masters in Art Education and is the mother of my granddaughters Genevieve Elizabeth (I call her Princess Vivi)and Princess Seraphine! Clayton has a dual degree in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement is and just graduated from Mizzou School of Law-he just finished taking his Bar and is anxiously awaiting the results. going to work for the Prosecutors Office in Springfield. He married last August in Kauai to Karla. Life is never dull. My Job: I've been a hairdresser and nail tech for 20 years. After owning and operating my own shop out of my home for the past 5 years Michael and I are getting ready to move to Columbia and for the first time in 20 years I will be working for someone else-Life is a constant adventure! Michael and I bought the "Old Carney House" in the Powell Addition. I wish I had a dollar for everyone who said, "Oh I used to party there!" It's an awesome house. Tri-level in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright. I've worked super hard the past three summers on the landscaping and my flower gardens ROCK! There is an in-ground pool in the back yard After spending the past 5 years renovating and remodeling this awesome house we are on to yet another project in Columbia. No pool yet-but that can come later.
