Tracey's Story

Life After High School... Well I had my first son in 86, went to college , during my third year at college I got pregnant again with my second got married in 1991. Moved to Pennsylvania in 95. In 1990 I got pregnant again with my 3rd son at the ripe old age of 30. My boys are great their ages are now 23,19,13. I moved to Maine in 2001 where I lived and worked for 4 years. Got divorced in 2002. I moved back to Pennsylvania in 05 where I still am and will remain for some time. I am attending college full time and working part time. My Oldest son just became a dad on January 31,2009. They had boy his name is Thomas Patrick York I am so thrilled. Donald and I got reconnected and have kept in touch. It still amazes me that no matter how long two people are apart physically when you do talk to them again it is like just yesterday and the conversation continues. I went to Florida to see Donald for the first time in 25 years in April of 09. He and I spent 5 days together it was great to see him again. Donald came up to see me over Memorial Day weekend he met my boys and we again had a great time. I have reconnected with a few dear friends from high school and though things are are so not like they were back then they are still great people and I would not change anything about them. Well one thing I would change. I would have never lost touch with them to begin with....Expand for more
How do I hope old friends remember me? Well that is a loaded question Though I would hope they remember me as a softie sometimes too soft. I guess somethings never change. School: My biggest crush was William (Toby) Mitchell. Thinking back on that period makes me wonder what ever became of him. Though I do hope that whatever he decided to do has made him happy. One of the happiest memories I have in high school was hanging out in the front of the school with Donald Spears,Melanie Brown,Michelle DeVasto,my brothers Eddie and Billy, Susan, as well as Franco,Danny and the rest of the gang talking about what we were going to do for that day or that weekend. One of the strangest memories is when they were filming for the National smoke out at Rindge and well I got busted on the 5 o'clock news with a smoke in my hand. Mom did not know I was smoking then. Teachers: I have many teachers that have inspired me over the years. The two that stand out the most are Mr Healy and Mr K., Mr K. was the English teacher in Fundamental and Mr Healy was the History teacher there as well. They both thought me to dream and dream big then follow those dreams. Though it has taken 20+ years I am following them. Start there and who knows I just might become a Lawyer yet. I am still reaching for that brass ring maybe someday I will actually get it. If anyone wants to more just ask.
