After graduating from Brigham Young University in 1989 (Paula Allred also graduated with me from BYU the same day), I moved to Virginia with my husband Jon and started working for the Central Intelligence Agency. I now have four children, three girls and two boys and fill my time with writing novels. My first novel, Undercurrents, was published by Covenant Communications in 2004. Since that time, I have thirty published novels, and have won seven Whitney Awards, including two for novel of the year. (Safe House and Sanctuary.)
