Life
I can hardly believe it has been 20 years. I have since grown balder, gained a bit of weight and gray hair - much to my dismay. My favorite music stations are all referred to as "oldies" (remember Styx' "Best of Times"?). I was married to my first wife for 11 years and had three children (Christopher, who passed away at 8.5 months, Sara who is 13 and Michael who is 10). I've since remarried to beautiful Denise and we'll be celebrating our 3rd anniversary this year (2001) and I couldnÂt be happier. I went to San Jacinto Jr. College studying Computer Science -- until the money ran out. I then ended up in the Navy as an Electronics Technician and learned all about computer controlled RADAR systems. Since leaving the military, I have followed my life's ambition to be a computer geek (which started at Dobie - as some of you may remember), and have succeeded admirably. y return to California. I'm currently the IS Manager here in the San Francisco Bay Area. (No, not a dot-com company although I do work on light web page development, LAN/internet technologies, and in various other hardware and software technical areas.) I have had the glorious opportunity to see the world (both in the Navy and as a civilian) needing only to visit Antarctica to complete my tour of the continents. I have lived in Florida, Illinois, Texas (duh), Tennessee, Alaska, and various places in California before settling down here in the East Bay - San Leandro. I also collect wine. Well collecting isn't entirely correct since I plan on drinking every one of the 500 bottles or so I currently have (boy, won't THAT take a while!). Going to Napa and Sonoma valleys (they're close) and travelling to the great wine growing areas of Europe and Australia are some of my favorite things to do. I hope to make it to the reunion. It'd be good to see some of you again!
