Tracy's Story
After attending Concord elementary and middle school, I moved to Vandercook Lake in 1975 (beginning of 8th grade). After graduating from Vandercook Lake HS in 1980, I attended Michigan State University in the Mechanical Engineering program. Graduated with BSME in 1985. Married Lynette Swihart in 1982 and have two great kids. Alicia (1988) and Evan (1992). Alicia is at MSU in Elementary Education and Evan is at Jackson High. I have worked for Aeroquip (now purchased by Eaton Corp) since 1984 and will have 25 years on 2/14/2009. After working as a design engineer, I now work in Information Technology and do mostly IT Project Management.
Have lived in Jackson, MI all my life, but have traveled to several european countries for work (France, England, Germany, Spain). Many of these countries I have visited numerous times. I enjoy traveling and learning new cultures, foods, etc.

olunteered in the public schools, now she works at Frost School as a paraprofessional.
I have been a youth/high school soccer official for many years, but now mostly do mentoring of other soccer officials. I am currently a high school and college (Big10) volleyball official. This is easier on the knees than running around a soccer field.
I have a passion for hunting and the outdoors. My son Evan and I go hunting when we can together. In 2007 I shot my first buck with a muzzleloader (small 11pt) and it is hanging on my wall. Spring of 2008 I shot a nice turkey and he is mounted and sits on my floor. Shot my first buck with a bow in Oct 2008. I could spend every day in the woods, even if I don't kill anything.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Jule Sanford, because we got married in 8th grade before I left Concord. I made her a paper ring. I wonder if she still has it..ha ha... :-)
