Tracy's Story
Hum... where to start. Well, I've stuck around J-town all these years. Came close to leaving a few times, but never gave into it.
My girls and I are all still together, been together since MacArthur! You should know who they are if you remember me. Just call us the Ya-Yas! We may have our moments, but always there when we need each other. I've also made many other wonderful friends along life 's journey, can't go without recognizing them.
I've taught for several years now. I started out working with preschool and toddlers through ASU, then taught third grade in Trumann for a couple of years. Then made it home to Jonesboro School District and have taught fifth, second, and now first g...Expand for more
rade. You all should've heard many of our old teachers when I was introduced as a new employee at a district-wide meeting at JHS. It was hilarious. I heard "Oh, she was my student!" I thought of many of you who roamed the commons and halls of "Dear Old Jonesboro High" with me as I walked into the building!
Speaking of teaching, I recently achieved my National Board Certification! YEA ME! It was a lot of hard work, but well worth it.
Never got married. I guess a few bad relationships made me a little reluctant for a while, but I'm not giving up! I still believe there is someone out there for me.
