Tracy's Story
Hi everybody -- I was a school newspaper and creative writing geek at MHS, went on to a 20-year newspaper-reporting career, working for the U.S. Air Force and for half a dozen daily and weekly newspapers in Washington and Wyoming.
In November 2013, I published an Amazon/Kindle e-book, a 190-page memoir about my Dream Job, working for Boise's Musicworks record store chain from 1979-1981. The book is called GUARANTEED GREAT MUSIC! and you can find it by punching in the title or my name at Amazon.com's Kindle Store. The book includes lots of nostalgic stories about growing up in Boise in the late '70s and early '80s, and if I knew you back in the day, you're probably mentioned in the book! tough life lessons I learned during my newspaper career.... The newspaper memoir was published as a Kindle e-book just before Christmas of 2013, it's called THE CONFESSOR. Early in April 2014, I finished my third e-book memoir about 10 years working in a gas-station/convenience store, it's called THE GAS NAZI! Have two kids, both grown-up, have been married and divorced, and am currently living in western Washington, though I plan to move Back Home soon.
