Tracy's Story

I always wanted to be a artist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right. Go mow the grass for a couple of hours,or sit on the porch swing, or draw and paint for awhile,or watch a movie while sitting with my chocolate lab "Monet" My inspiration comes from watching other artist work or looking at other peoples art and the process they go through to get it.Another way I get inspired is to go to artists workshops.I also love to people watch. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Lynne Newfang or her brother Lee. Billy Baker, because I remember some othe fun times we had. I love my pet iguana "Lil", and I am a real lover of my two dogs,"Bear and my chocolate lab "Monet".We also have two other dogs that belong to my son and daughter that I help raise "Pep-Pe a boxer-pitbull cross and "Roxy", the mother to my chocolate lab Monet. They give me so much pleasure and friendship and laughfter. If I won $100 million, I'd give 20 million of it to Humane Society, then spend the rest on the education of my children ,grandchildren and other relatives that want to get a college education, then pay off all our bills, and set aside 20 million for any kind of future medical expenses for my family and I. and the rest I would invest in and I would buy my husband his own professional baseball team.. Campus life was great! I roomed with Lynette Priebe. One of the first nights we were there She brought around four guys up to our dorm. I think one was Rob Wigton, Greg Gapp, I think but am not totally positive one was Allen Jacobson and one other guy( Ron Jenson ). Greg came up to me and started talking to me.He saw I had a popc...Expand for more
orn maker and I soon found the way to his hart. We talked for hours like there was no one else there but just him and I.36 years later its still the same. He's definately my soul mate. I love him so much. He can still make me smile at the sight of him. Yeah, campus life was good. I loved all the friends I made and the on campus jobs were fun. I worked in the Little Theater with Professor Scriba and some other theater majors. I loved helping build the sets and being props director. These were all good experiences for me. My favorite place to be was down in the basement of the Chaple. That was were the art department was. It was also next to the music department,so when I was doing my art thing I could also here the music of many. All though I loved being with Greg my least favorite place on campus was the lab wher Greg spent a lot of time because besides that being his major he also worked up there for the science professors. The thing I did'nt like about it was the smells of all the chemicals and formalmahldihide. Going to the games were fun and filled with being among the socializing of friends. It really helped that we were a small college of 500-600 kids.Every body new of everybody.I loved every moment of college life, even our wedding. We were married at the Vorhese Chaple on campus during our 3rd and 4th years. We lived in married housing on campus also.Looking back, even though I lived with him it still wasn't the same as living under the same roof as a bunch of girlfriends and sneaking you boyfriends out of the dorms almost if not all at the same tims during the wee hours of the mornings.Just being with Greg through the coolege life with our combined friends was a great time in my life.
