Tracy's Story
Maybe it's the fact that my first born started High School last week (yikes!). Or, perhaps it's the idea of our 20 year reunion quickly approaching (unbelievable, but nonetheless true). Whatever the reason, I have been thinking a lot about "the good ol' days" lately and thought it would be fun to reconnect with my previous (I wouldn't dare use the word "old") classmates. I can remember the night of my dad's 20th reunion as if it were... well, not quite yesterday, but no more than a few years ago, and here we are about that same age. I thought he was such an old man back then! :-) Life is crazy, isn't it?
Anyway, a brief recap for you - I live in a small town in Arizona where my husband I have started a paving business. My pride and joy are my 3 wonderful children, Garett (14), B.W. (11) and Bobbi Jo (9). Garet...Expand for more
t is a Freshman and is already counting down the months until he gets his driver's license (double yikes!). B.W. just entered Middle School, so look out - here comes the fun stuff that goes on at that age! Bobbi Jo is in 4th grade, and she is under constant training by her older brothers on how to be a tough girl.
While searching through some pictures to post on this site, I came to the realization that I really need to get dressed up more often! It was nearly impossible to find a picture where we weren't hunting, fishing, camping, golfing, hanging out at a roping or in Rocky Point - none of which require much more primping other than a ball cap or a ponytail. Oh well, what can I say? I guess my girlfriends have been right all along, and I am a hick-at-heart!!! :-)
