Travis's Story

Here are some answers to some of the "idea" questions: I hope most friends remember me as a fun loving guy who liked to laugh, who loved to have a good time, and would do anything for them. I generally golf, work in the yard, wash my car, or work out to relieve some stress and relax. The wildest thing I ever did in school was actually in college. I threw my brother a bachelor party that, needless to say, made the movie "Bachelor Party" look tame. That was the first time I got in any real trouble with the police. I've pretty much stayed in the Salt Lake City area. I currently live in South Jordan. T.V. isn't really my thing. I hate reality TV! Generally, I only watch sports, news, discovery & history channel, and the home shows / do-it-yourself shows. You could also throw in the occasional movie or two. There's alot of different people I'd like to catch up with and for a variety of reasons. Old friends, teammates, girlfriends etc. I continue to love playing and watching all sports. Especially golf, basketball, football, and baseball. Because of bad knees I'm pretty much limited to playing golf and softball. Never thought that would happen. I live in a gated community so the only thing that I would improve about my home is that I had younger neighbors (it wasn't like that when I moved in). I would also add a huge personal home theater room. One of the things that I've learned most from my kids is that life to way to short and you just need to do it. Unfortunately, it's taken me 10 years to figure that one out. Patienc...Expand for more
e is also something that I never had but am beginning to learn because of my kids ( 1 boy 10yrs, 2 girls 8yrs and 3yrs). If I won $100 million, I probably quit my job, golf alot and take a few more vacations. I know I'd get some new things and then upgrade a few things in my house (new theater room). After giving each of my family and close friends a good chunk. I think that giving alot of it away would be fun. You know, leave $200 tip, stuff like that. No real career aspirations. I would like to expand the family business and stop working in healthcare. I currently do both and find little time to do what I really want (family, home, sports, relax). I enjoy healthcare but it wears on you. By doing just the family business I would have significantly more time for the things I really want. Still dress pretty basic, shorts (year round), golf shirts, tennis shoes. Half the time I wear scrubs because of my job in healthcare/hospital (physical therapy). I find the new styles the same as the styles we made fun of in high school (wide bottom pants etc.). Generally, I have found that time really does fly as you get older. I'm just starting to realize that you do have to stop and smell the roses once in awhile. I feel that, for the most part, I've done well. I have a WONDERFUL family and love 'em to death. I still enjoy having a good time with friends and stay in touch with alot of them. I play softball with alot them on a weekly basis. I just love to have fun. I miss the days of being younger and having no "real" worries.
