Travis's Story
Life
With 30 years upon us it is a good time to reflect on what the past was, what does today hold and where the future takes us.
I have to say the past holds some fond memories for me. I was fortunate to have friends who cared and helped me through some difficult issues through my high school years. Those of you out there who read this will know who you are! To them I say thank you.
Everyone has a 'life chaning' or 'life defining' moment that changes them forever. That is why today I am blessed to see the sunrise and have my family with me!
The future is exciting. Can't wait to get back and mingle with old friends. See their families and hear how the last 30 years have been to them.
My family consists of:
A 13 year old going on 20 who is challening, funny, smart, cynical (as she puts it!) and did I say smart?
I have two dogs, Dudley (10 year old mini-schnauzer) and Riley (1 year pommie with 3 legs). They are attached at the hips.
Ranger, a recused cat who is the worlds best lap cat.
Then there is my love Dana! For 10 years she has been by my side each and every day!

om there I worked my way up over 10 years to become a general manager and have been the manager for about 4 stores in the area. After some soul searching I changed careers and in 2000 began working for Target. They wanted to put be back into the food business (which I had enough of with McDonald's) and I wanted to avoid it, but they wanted to put me there. So I took up a friend's job offer to come work for her company. That company is Iowa Student Loan and have been there 5 years now. It was facinating to learn about federal and private student loans. I have now switched positions and work in the claims department and investigate ID theft and fraud cases. Overall I take great pride that my company helps college bound students obtain funding (loans/grants/schoalrships) etc. at no cost for their college education.(shamless plug!)
What are my hobbies? Besides my family time, I like to garden, anything outdoors, ski, golf, and travel to taste local wines, beers, micro-brews and cuisine.
