Tressie's Story
Life
Tressie Cotton-Scott, I moved out of Compton a year after I graduated from High School and moved to Ontario(Calif) where I
attended college and worked for awhile. I got married and had a baby(girl) in 1985. IN 1990 Went to work for the Department of Mental Health at Patton State Hospital as an Office Technician, I
continued to work there until 1995. In December of 1995 I went to
work for the Department of Cor...Expand for more
rections( Youth Authority ) in Chino,
where I continue to work after 11 years. I am an educator working
with special ed students who are incarcerated. I've been married to the same man for 22 years( in July) who is a Correctional Counselor in the same Department, we live in the High Desert city of Hesperia,
we have one blessed child, our daughter, who works and
attends the California Design College in Los Angeles.
