Dr. Treva's Story
When I left Parkview, I went into a culture shock. I attended a small private methodist college in Shreveport, where there was a 9% minority count. When I say minority, I mean ALL minorities. I knew that I would go pre-med. But by my senior year, I decided to go into forensics. I worked at the crime lab in little rock for a few year after graduation. But I had to leave because of all the "Hataz". I moved to Texas in 2000 to work for a police crime lab and get my masters degree. I actually learned how to play the drums while living in fort worth for 5 years. Again, folks cant stand to see a sista excel. So, I left FW in 2004 to begin medical school. I will be graduating in April 2008 and specializing in pathology. My first real crush in married - he shall remain nameless, since he did go to parkview.
My favorite teacher at Parkview was Dr. Ella Walker. I have actually seen her several times since graduation. Dr. Walke...Expand for more
r didnt take any stuff from anyone - i liked that. My biggest surprise in life is that I am not married nor do I have children. I think that having this would make life even more fabulous.
I guess skipping school almost every week and cursing at Dr. Stephens were the wildest thins I did in HS. But, JS and I skipped school one afternoon and got into a wreck. I had to walk back to school to avoid extra drama and trauma. I hope that people remember me as being witty, bright yet down to earth. As long as I have my family and friends love and support, I couldnt ask for anything more.
If I had one do-over in life, I would be more selective in the guys that I dated or had relationships with. I have lived in Little Rock, Shreveport, Fort Worth, St. Maarten, Brooklyn, Queens, Baltimore and DC.
I have worked as a telemarketer, shoe salesperson, lab rat, intern, substitute teacher, forensic biologist, campaign manager, contractor
