Trevor's Story
Life
Hi!
After graduating from Anacostia, I attended and gradua-
ted from Howard University. I then married
Stanley Norman, an Eastern High and Howard graduate
and we started life as a military family. For nine years
he was active military and we traveled from D.C. to
Oklahoma to Germany then to Texas where he left
active duty. We settled in Pittsburg, California, (not far
from Oakland and San Francisco). The active service
allowed us to travel in Europe. Since leaving the active
service we've been to Hawaii and Alaska. We've had
many trips across country visiting family. We've been
in California for 27 years, but we plan to retire on the

career in the reserves. We have 2 daughters, Jaha and
Nichole, who now live in Virginia and D.C. respectively.
Jaha is married to a military man and they have a
daughter, Doria, and and son, Rashad. I have so many
loves in my life, it's unbelieveable. I have worked for 2
elected county government officials. I retired from that
position six years ago. After that I worked for
Chapman University. I am now on the prowl for a new
part time position and I am studying for the GRE. I
have decided to continue to try to accomplish all of my
goals as long as my mind and body will allow. I hope to
