Life Since we are both connected to the same classmates.com ID, this is a shared Bio....... Lori ( Lori Anderson, class of 1980, Lanier ) and Trey ( Trey Armstrong, class of 1978, Lanier ) got married in August 1981 and headed up to North Dakota to start their lives together. Trey had joined the Air Force and his first assignment was at Grand Forks, North Dakota. We thought the winters were cold in Texas, but soon learned that they did not compare to the northern states and the harsh FORTY BELOW ZERO temps (not including wind chill factor). After realizing the cold was too much for these two Texans, Trey put in for a transfer and we ended up with orders to Anchorage Alaska. The winters in Anchorage were milder, but a lot longer, and the 5+ years up there was a great experience that we would not change if we had the chance! Trey finally got out of the military (in 1989) and we moved back to Austin. We spent a year and a half in the "hot and humid" central Texas area and came to the conclusion that we were more acclimated to cooler side of things.
