Tricia's Story

Life Well I figured it was time for update on the good old bio well lets see still in Georgia, my daughter Brittany graduated this year and my son Justin will start high school in August. My husband started a new job last year and he's been working in New Orleans for a year now coming home every 2 weeks, its been hard, but now he's trying to get a job back in Atlanta but I'm not sure whats going to happen with that. It has been a year and we've all came adjusted to the change but I guess we'll take one day at a time. Got a big event in our family this December my neice Ashley is getting married to her high school sweetheart Atlanta Braves catcher Brian McCann so were all excited and can't wait for that day. As far as me goes I'm taking one day at a time and not taking one day ever for granted. Workplace You know when I first graduated from High School I tried the whole office job and did that for awhile, then I always went back to the food industry, started out as a server then I was a operational manager, can't do that office thing I'm to much of a people person and don't like sitting all day. I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I try to work out, or be by myself when I'm frustrated. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have coffee, cigarettes, and gum to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My hero was my mother, my dad died when he was only 39 years of age leaving my mom to raise 3 children under the age of 10. They were only married 9 years and his death was very unexpected. My mom did a wonderful ...Expand for more
job with all 3 of us and she never gave up. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Judy Weber, because she was a very good friend. I do love the Pittsburgh Steelers & Georgia Bulldogs. I have to say I do have some reality TV shows that I like my favorite is Dancing with the Stars. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my kitchen and add on a sun room. My dream home would be on the ocean. What I've learned from my children? Just watching them grow up and how different things are now compared to when we grew up. If I won $100 million, I'd give 1 million of it to my dearest friend, then spend the rest on bills, family and charities. My current age is 43. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old. I was so completely clueless. Well I've always been a go getter, and if I see something that needs improvement I go for it. My best friend would tell you I'm very caring, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as quiet at first. Do I dress like I did 20 years ago? hell no I share my home with my two children, dog, & husband, which I find just fine. In 10 years, I hope to be content. I'm going to get there by getting things straighten out in my life. I would have to say my oldest friend is Shelley she lived up the street from me and I met her when I was 3 or 4. From day one we got along and we are still friends as of this day. My first job was at Kaufmann's, where I got paid $5.00 hr to do assembly. What I remember most about it is was sweating my ass off. I would probably have to say every year our family went to Wildwood NJ on the beach.
