Trina's Story
Life
Born, raised, worked, married in Toronto. Moved to Australia in 1971, Moved to New Zealand in 1974, lived permanently until 2000, raised family, returned to Canada for working holiday, been back to NZ for six months 2001-2002 still travelling and loving it. Returned to NZ in 2004, worked for a year and have been travelling around NZ in my 1979 mini, living in a tent and picking up office temp work along the way and still loving it. I became a grandmother for the first time last year and both my boys have moved to Australia.
School
Loved public school,can remember all the kid's names. Did Business & Commerce course, 2 years at Burnhamthorpe, scrapped with the phys ed teacher, otherwise unnotable, can only remember Marleis Behncke (my b...Expand for more
est friend) and June Grice. Moved to Etobicoke Collegiate, scrapped with Mr Puz, can only vaguely remember some of the students.
Workplace
Six months at Etobicoke Board of Eduation working for D C Henderson Treasurer of the Board (he has since died) worked as a temp then for T Eaton Co as secretary to the Wage Administration Officer, then Mercantile Bank as Secretary in Consumer Loans for Russ Douglas, Glen Morrow, Alistair McFarlane, left the country and moved to Australia for 2 years then New Zealand for 27, back in Canada since 2001, with trips back to NZ. Love to travel. Children grown, both moved from NZ to Australia where there is more for young people. Hoping to see some of Europe on my next scheduled return to the South Pacific in 2004
