Trisha's Story

After graduating from WHS, I went to college and received a B.A. Ed. from NSU. I taught theatre, public speaking, competitive drama, and spanish for 3 years at Oklahoma Union Public Schools, where Theresa Kelley was my principal. We had so much fun! I then moved to Tulsa to teach high school theatre at Metro Christian Academy for 2 years. I decided I could not stand to teach one more year, so I resigned and returned to school to pursue a nursin...Expand for more
g degree. I graduated in May from OU College of Nursing with a BSN. I began working at St. John in June. I took and passed my state boards on July 15 and am now an official Registered Nurse. I LOVE it and have not regretted my decision to quit teaching for one second!!! And, the pay increase isn't bad either! :-) Now that I'm finished studying for a while, I plan to spend my vacation time traveling. Italy is the first destination on my list!
