Trudy's Story
As you have figured out by now, since graduation has been over 50 years ago, life is pretty intense. Wondered for years why someone hadn't written an "Owner's Manual" for life. So I am writing one now. I've moved over 50 times at this time....gypsy!
I worked at Lockheed, I got married at 23, joined the LDS Church and got married in the Oakland Temple. Moved to Utah in 1986 and ended up divorced. Had five, great children and raised them LDS, but none of us have stayed in the church. Three live in Utah, one in Oregon and one in NC at Fort Bragg, He's in the army.
I moved to Texas because my only sister lives there. Then I moved to Tacoma, Washington to be a Nanny for one of my daughters and her...Expand for more
two daughters. Then I moved back to Texas and then met an old friend and lived in Colorado for awhile. Met a guy in 2010 and we live in an RV and travel around the four corners area selling his art. He does Western Pencil Art and is awesome. I've learned that I was very right brained and creative and have a lot of questions. I am a believer in God and Jesus Christ and think I should have been a Pastor.
I am going back to Utah to live near 3 of my children. Turned 70 last October, can believe we are this old. I have stayed in touch with Phyllis Bechtell and Gail Fretwell. I was shy and pretty quiet in High School....I'm not now.
I wish I could find Sandy Syers, she was a year younger.
