Twyla's Story
I was born and raised in Statesboro and graduated from SHS in 1979. I graduated from GSC with a Bachelor's,a Master's and an Education Specialist degree. I left Statesboro to begin teaching in Callahan, Florida. After 15 years I married Dean Preising and moved to Phoenix, Arizona. I have many dear memories of SHS mostly centered around friends and activities in the band and journalism classes. I had many wonderful teachers along the way and here is a shout out to Mrs. Gerrald, Mrs. Foy and Mrs. Mallard! Also a special shout out to Mr. "John Donald" our beloved principal!
I attended the first two reunions but have not been able to attend since then but I hold all of my fellow graduates in my heart and prayers.
